SAFEGUARDING POLICY

How Future Ready CIC protects the wellbeing of learners, mentors, volunteers and everyone taking part in our programmes.

01

Scope

This policy applies to all staff, mentors, volunteers, delivery partners and learners taking part in Future Ready activities, online and in person.

02

Designated Safeguarding Lead

The named Designated Safeguarding Lead and deputy, with contact details, are to be confirmed by Future Ready CIC and published here before launch.

03

Recruitment and checks

Mentor and volunteer vetting arrangements, including any DBS requirements, are to be confirmed on review. No claim about checks should be published until confirmed.

04

Reporting a concern

Anyone with a safeguarding concern should report it immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Where there is an immediate risk of harm, contact the emergency services on 999.

05

Online safety

Mentoring and sessions are arranged through the platform so activity is recorded. One-to-one contact outside agreed channels is not permitted.

06

Review

This policy should be reviewed at least annually and after any safeguarding incident.
